Parent & Child Education
Stafford Hospital & Mary Washington Hospital: Here for You
At Mary Washington Healthcare, our commitment is to our patients—first
and foremost. We believe in going above and beyond in our focus on patients.
Our goal is to give them the best experience, to make sure they’re
prepared, to communicate, and to provide consistency of care, access,
and service. Our pediatrics department is staffed by dedicated individuals
passionate about childhood healthcare. We also emphasize parent and child
education in order to ensure that our community has access to the information
necessary to live happy, healthy lives. This includes the classes offered
by our American Heart Association Training Center.
Who We Are
Mary Washington Healthcare is an independent, non-profit health system.
This sets us apart from our immediate competitors, all of whom are for-profit.
We offer charity care for patients in our Virginia communities. Uninsured
or underinsured individuals can still receive care through our health
system, and may apply for funds to help pay their medical bills. These
aspects of what we do are simply part of accomplishing our goal of providing
care to everyone. For members of our community, we want to continue to
provide access to some of the nation’s best care—right in
