Cosmetic Surgery

  • Liposuction

Liposuction can be used to slim or reshape certain parts of the body by removing excess body fat. Typically performed by a plastic surgeon, the treatment uses suction to surgically remove fat deposits and is often done in combination with other treatments such tummy tuck, face lift or breast reduction.

  • Abdominoplasty

Abdominal wall surgery improves the appearance of flabby, stretched-out abdominal (belly) muscles and skin. Often called a tummy tuck abdominoplasty can range from a simple to more complicated extensive surgery. Abdominal wall surgery is not the same as liposuction with another way to remove fat. Two procedures are often done in combination.

  • Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation uses implants or fat to increase breast size or restore breast volume. This procedure may also be done following mastectomy or injury. This procedure is sometimes done in conjunction with a breast lift to address drooping or sagging.

  • Breast Reduction / Lift

A breast lift, or mastopexy, is cosmetic breast surgery to lift the breasts. The surgery may also involve changing the position of the areola and nipple.

  • Blepharoplasty

Removing excess skin, bulging fat or lax muscles from the upper eyelids can help you achieve a more youthful look. Eyelid lift surgery, called blepharoplasty, can also improve the visual field.

  • Face Lift

A facelift improves visual signs of aging by surgically repairing sagging, drooping, and wrinkled skin of the face and neck.

  • Rhinoplasty

Repair or reshaping of the nose is called rhinoplasty. It is used to enhance structural harmony and the proportions of the nose as well as to correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects. This procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia depending on the exact procedure and the patient's preference. It is performed in a surgeon's office, a hospital, or an outpatient surgery center. Complex procedures may require a short hospital stay. The procedure usually takes 1 to 2 hours but could take longer.

  • Body Contouring

After major weight loss, surgical body contouring can remove excess fat and skin while improving the underlying support tissue to create smoother contours.

Cosmetic Procedures

  • Botox

BOTOX ® Botox® Cosmetic smooths unwanted wrinkles between your eyes, on your forehead and at the corners of your eyes with just a few minutes of treatment. FDA approved for frown lines between the brows, the treatment is a purified form of botulinum bacteria that relaxes and smooths the unwanted grooves caused by repeated facial actions and expressions. The smoothing effects normally last 3-4 months.

  • Jevederm

Juvederm instantly brings back your skin’s volume and smooths away facial wrinkles and folds for up to nine months to a year! With a quick in-office procedure, Dr. Arora eases the injectable gel with hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers under your skin. You will see the difference immediately, and best of all, there is no downtime!

  • Restylane

Restylane replaces lost volume and restores your skin’s youthful contours. This FDA approved dermal filler is injected through an ultrafine needle and is great for smoothing away moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth.

  • Latisse

LATISSE™ will give you the longer, fuller, darker eyelashes you desire. The first and only FDA approved prescription treatment for inadequate eyelashes, LATISSE™ has an active ingredient: bimatoprost that prolongs the lash growth phase. LATISSE™ is effective and easy to use with a once-a-day treatment applied topically to the base of your upper eyelashes.

  • Cosmeceuticals

Have you noticed that drug and department store skin care lines don’t produce noticeable or long lasting improvements in your skin? Without prescription-strength ingredients, those products can only penetrate your skin’s top layers. The benefits they can offer are superficial and only temporary. To fully address his patients’ skin care needs, Dr. Arora offers several product lines that are available only through a physician. He and his staff are knowledgeable and experienced in using these products and can tailor a skin care plan to address your needs and concerns.

  • Chemical Peels

Remove dull, damaged outer layers of skin to banish fine lines, blemishes and areas of dry skin and discoloration. Dr. Arora offers mild to moderately strong chemical peels ranging from glycolic acid, a good choice for those seeking a refreshed complexion without downtime, and salicylic acid peels specifically recommended for patients with acne. Some peels target the surface layers of the skin and some are designed to safely penetrate the deeper layers. A treatment plan is designed specifically to treat your skin type and safely address your skin care concerns.

  • Dysport

Dysport is a prescription injection that temporarily improves the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults under age 65.

  • Beiotero

Temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth) with a prescription injection of BELOTERO BALANCE®.

  • Sculptra

Correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds that appear with aging by replacing lost collagen with Sculptra Aesthetic. This facial injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid, is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for decades.

  • Genesis

Achieve vibrant, even skin tone, tighter pores and smoother skin texture in a rejuvenating experience with no downtime. Available for men and women, this advanced science treatment uses light to penetrate deeply into the skin to stimulate an increase of new collagen production that continues over time.
Laser Genesis safely, discretely, and effectively treats scars, uneven textures, fine line wrinkles and large pores without destroying the upper layers of skin (non-ablative). The skin is gently warmed as light reaches the dermis where collagen is made. The treatment also targets the microvasculature (tiny vessels) beneath the skin surface, decreasing diffuse redness and ruddy complexions. Daily activities may be resumed right away. Because treatment results are often subtle, you may require four to six treatments to achieve optimal results. Every patient's condition and needs vary.

  • Hair Removal

Save time and skin irritation by eliminating unwanted hair permanently. The Cutera Coolglide laser is FDA cleared for permanent hair reduction and can treat men and women of all skin tones, including tanned skin, safely and effectively.
Because each hair is at different stages of growth, several treatments with Cutera Coolglide are needed to reduce hair growth. The Cutera Coolglide cools and slides along your skin to safely treat all parts of the body including the face, legs, arms, underarms and back. It can also treat sensitive areas like the chest, breast and bikini line. Talk to Dr. Arora and his staff about how to banish your unwanted hair without the pain, mess, or irritation of electrolysis, waxing, threading, shaving and creams.

  • Limelight

Create changes beneath the skin to address rosacea, veins, sun damage, and other cosmetic issues related to excessive or uneven pigment with little to no downtime using Cutera Limelight®. This rejuvenation procedure uses Intelligent Pulsed Light (IPL), a form of light that doesn’t damage the skin’s outer layer (epidermis) as it passes through to create changes below that will be visible on the surface.
During treatment you may experience a brief, mild sting (similar to a rubberband snap) as the pulse of light is delivered. Most patients find this sensation to be quite tolerable, and anesthesia or medication are not necessary. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after a Limelight® facial. Your skin may have a rosy flush and feel slightly sensitive to the touch, but most patients feel comfortable in resuming normal activities.
Generally, dramatic results from Limelight® can be achieved in one or two treatment, but unusually large or dark areas may require additional treatments. Spots that have been successfully treated will not return, however, continued exposure to the sun without sufficient sunscreen application, can result in the appearance of new spots.

  • Titan

Enhance skin tone with an all-natural treatment that’s safe for patients of any skin type or age. The Cutera Titan® uses light energy to heat the dermis deep below your skin's surface. Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, Titan is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms and more.
Titan uses a safe infrared light to heat the dermis layer of skin while the skin's surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. Titan's light-based platform provides a more uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis than other energy sources, such as RF (radio-frequency).

  • Pearl

Gain a healthier, more youthful appearance with a light treatment that addresses your entire face. In addition to replacing your top sun-damaged layer of skin with new healthy skin, the Pearl laser treatment heats deeper layers of skin stimulating new collagen growth for 4 to 6 weeks to continue filling out your skin and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. This whole face approach minimizes the number of treatments you need, typically 1-2, to renew your skin. During Pearl laser treatment, patients may feel a series of brief pinches as the top layer of the skin (epidermis) receives pulses of light. A portion of this surface skin is gently removed and a natural protective dressing is formed on the skin's surface. After 3-4 days, the protective dressing peels off revealing new, healthy, vibrant skin underneath.

  • Vein

Unsightly facial and leg veins, including deeper blue leg veins, disappear with Cutera CoolGlide laser treatment. Safe and effective for men and women of all skin tones, Cutera Coolglide’s unique design uses the most advanced technology to combine a longer, ideal wavelength with the most flexible parameters to deliver superior results.
The Cutera CoolGlide laser treats a broad range of vessels from tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins quickly, safely, and effectively with minimal bruising or blistering. Pulses of light delivered to the vein cause the blood within to coagulate and destroy the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. Blood flow redirects to veins deeper below your skin's surface, where it should be. Patients typically find that one or two treatments are sufficient, however, the number of treatments necessary depends on the number, color, and size of the vessels.
Since individual results vary, consult with Dr. Arora about your specific condition. He will share complete information about the benefits and risks of treatment.
Local anesthesia and pain medication are typically not required, but many patients opt for a topical anesthetic prior to treatment which produces a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered. Following treatment pain is minimal to nonexistent. Patients report few if any side effects such as slight reddening and local swelling of the skin for less than 24 hours. Some patients may experience bruising and, in rare instances, blistering may occur.
Most patients find the majority of treated veins improve significantly within two to six weeks of treatment. However, your final results may not be apparent for several months. Over time, new veins may appear, but these too can be removed.

Using the most advanced laser technology we can target treatments to give you the results you want often without any downtime.

  • Hair Removal

Eliminate the time, mess and irritation caused by other hair removal methods with laser technology. During laser hair removal sessions, light penetrates the skin and rapidly heats the hair shaft and root to disable the entire hair follicle. Several treatments may be needed as each hair is at a different stage of development.

Reconstructive Surgery

  • Breast Reconstruction

After a mastectomy, some women choose to have cosmetic surgery to remake their breast. This type of surgery is called breast reconstruction.
During breast reconstruction that uses natural tissue, the breast is reshaped using muscle, skin, or fat from another part of your body.
This surgery can be performed at the same time as mastectomy or later.

  • Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is surgery to reduce the size of the breasts. Breast reduction surgery is usually done under general anesthesia (asleep and pain-free). For a breast reduction, the surgeon removes some of the breast tissue and skin. Your nipples may be moved higher to reposition them for cosmetic reasons.

  • Skin Cancers

The most common of all cancers, skin cancer begins in the cells of the skin, which is the largest organ in the human body. Nonmelanoma, the most common type of skin cancer, starts in the basal and squamous cells, usually on parts of the body that receive the most sun exposure. Cancers starting in these cells are less likely to spread to other parts of the body and become life threatening. Still they should be checked promptly. Melanomas, which are less common, are the most serious type of skin cancers because they are more likely to spread to other tissues and organs. These occur in the cells that make brown pigment to give skin its coloring. Melanomas can occur anywhere but are most common on the chest and back for men and on the legs for women. More than 2 million new cases of nonmelanoma cancer occur each year. For the year 2014, the American Cancer Society estimates about 76,100 new cases of melanoma in the U.S., and about 9,710 Americans will die from the disease.

  • Facial Reconstruction

Facial reconstructive surgery repairs or reshapes the face. This surgery can be used to enhance appearance or to correct deformities of the face that may have been present from birth, or be due to accidents, illness or disease.

  • Facial Fractures

Facial fractures are breaks in the nose, jaw or other bones that make up the face.

  • Hand Surgery

A hand that is impaired or painful due to carpal tunnel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis or Dupuytren’s contracture may qualify for surgical, corrective treatment. In many cases hand surgery can improve strength, flexibility and function. Talk to your doctor to determine if hand surgery is a good option for you.

  • Burn Care

Skin that is severely damaged or deformed by a major burn may benefit from treatment by a plastic surgeon. Skin grafts, tissue expansion and other techniques can be used to replace or regenerate badly damaged skin.

  • Soft Tissue Coverage

this procedure encourages the body to grow additional skin needed for reconstruction by inserting a “balloon expander” under the skin near where the repair is needed. The balloon is filled with saline overtime causing the skin to stretch and grow much like it does during a woman’s pregnancy. The extra skin is then used to replace the damaged skin.

  • Skin Grafting

Often used to replace skin that has been badly damaged due to a burn or traumatic injury, a skin graft is typically performed by a plastic surgeon. The skin is removed from one area of the body and transplanted to another location.

  • Chronic Wound Evaluation

Ongoing assessment of chronic wounds is essential to assure appropriate and effective treatment

  • Chronic Wound Management

Once a wound is identified and properly treated, the basic principles of wound treatment apply with regular dressing changes. In some cases, a skin graft or flap may be needed for final closure

  • Cleft Lip

Cleft lip and cleft palate refer to incomplete formation of those tissues during fetal development. The condition is among the most common birth defects in North American children and can be corrected with plastic surgery. Repair of these tissues can improve your child’s ability to eat, breathe, speak and hear as well as impact appearance.
