Mary Washington Hospital offers the latest in advanced interventional radiology
procedures, performed by board-certified interventional radiologists.
Many of these procedures have replaced the need for surgery. Some of the
procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include:
- Venous access (PICC lines, Port-a-cath, Dialysis grafts, etc…)
- Vascular angiography and stent procedures
- Endovascular Laser Therapy (EVLT)
- Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE)

Scheduling your procedure
Many general diagnostic xrays do not require an appointment. All other
imaging services, and interventional radiology services, require an appointment.
