Wanted: 2012 United Way Campaign Dept. Challenges, Beginning Sept. 18

Our 2012 Summer Olympics-themed GO FOR THE GOAL Rappahannock United Way Campaign runs from 9/18 through 10/26. Pledge forms and brochures are coming in mid-September, so please consider planning a fun department challenge to further MWHC’s proud tradition of helping those in need.

Last year, 17 departments held events and raised over $17,652. If your department would like any help devising a great event to sponsor, contact Nanette.Fisher@mwhc.com or call her at x12112.

If you already have an event in the works, please let Nan know about it so she can coordinate its promotion. Include the following information:

• Name of event
• Contact person & contact phone number
• Date, time & location
• Amount of any entrance and/or participation fee
• Brief description of the event's activities
