MWHC Heart Failure Program Recognized
Cheri Basso, Program Coordinator of the MWHC Heart Failure program, contributed to Press Ganey’s most recent newsletter about the REACH program. REACH stands for Rehabilitation, Education, Assessment and Care for Heart Failure. It is part of a comprehensive heart failure program that was begun in 2008 after Mary Washington leaders compared the hospital’s 32.6% readmission rate for heart failure to the national average of 25%.
