As of February 1, 2013, The Medical Center of Stafford no longer offers walk-in appointments. If you need an appointment, please contact us at 540.659.4157. We offer appointments for our patients who need comprehensive physical examinations, and/or extensive medical evaluations or chronic illness care. Our physicians have appointment times available each week. The physicians who are seeing patients by scheduled appointments are not available to see walk-in patients at the same time.
Due to the expense of the billing process and mailing of statements, we ask for payment at the time of service. Payment arrangements need to be approved in advance by our staff. The Medical Center accepts cash, checks, Mastercard, and Visa.
We are participating providers with several major insurance carriers. Please contact our office for a current listing. All other insurance claims will be filed as a courtesy to the patient. We are not participating providers with Medicaid.
If you belong to an HMO or PPO, with which we do not participate, and your preferred provider or group cannot see you, we will be happy to provide services, although we may need a referral or authorization from them. We will gladly answer your questions relating to insurance, but we cannot accept responsibility for collecting your insurance claim or negotiating settlement of a disputed claim.
