WE VALUE a philosophy of child development that motivates a child to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, promotes parental involvement and supports the child and caregiver relationship. WE VALUE a learning environment that encourages hands-on exploration. WE VALUE a process of education that enhances self-esteem, creativity, individuality and independence. WE VALUE a curriculum that includes age-appropriate learning materials and a balance of both child and teacher-initiated activities. WE VALUE parents, faculty and staff who support each other and the needs of Kids' Station. WE VALUE a school community that believes in quality care for children during their formative years and constant interaction between parents and staff.

Curriculum Our curriculum operates on the belief that the child learns best by doing. It encourages children to learn and explore through use of their senses, such as, touching, tasting, smelling, listening, and looking. We use materials such as blocks and manipulatives to help the children learn about size, shape, and color. We use a wide variety of sensory and art supplies, all for the children to create freely! It is the process that matters, not the product. We provide many opportunities for reading, singing and rhyming, not only during circle time, but also during free choice time. The curriculum's goal is to teach children how to learn, giving them a valuable tool for success in their later years as well. This curriculum encourages children to be independent, self-confident, and inquisitive individuals.
