Stafford Hospital Foundation was created in 2008 to raise funds for Stafford Hospital. The Foundation works to enhance the health, quality of life and vitality of Stafford County. Our mission
The mission of the Mary Washington Hospital Foundation and Stafford Hospital Foundation is to communicate the case for financial support of the activities of Mary Washington Healthcare, including Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital, and to act as a grantmaker to promote partnerships with community organizations to improve the health status of all people within our community.

Giving options
For the convenience of our donors, both Foundations offer a variety of giving options.  We host two annual golf tournaments and an oyster roast. Because both Foundations are not-for-profit, donations are fully deductible as allowed by current IRS regulations.

Investing in our community
The Foundations provide funds that enable Mary Washington Healthcare to acquire the very latest in technological advances and provide educational scholarships to employees of Mary Washington. We also administer the Community Service Funds programs that award grants to non-profit organizations that seek to establish health-related projects within our region. The Fund is a recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Regional Cooperation award for outstanding service.
