Flexible Spending Accounts MWHC offers two flexible spending accounts (FSAs): a healthcare FSA and a dependent care FSA. These accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax money for certain health and dependent care expenses - like getting a discount on certain health and dependent care expenses because you are paying them with money that has not been subject to federal or Social Security tax. Life Insurance and Disability From life insurance to short-term and long-term disability protection, MWHC helps to protect your family in the event of the unexpected.
You are automatically enrolled in basic life coverage on your date of hire. All you need to do is complete your beneficiary information on the Self-Evident Application (SEA). You may enroll in any of the additional life options when you are first hired, during Open Enrollment, or within 31 days of a qualifying life event change. MWHC offers short- and long-term disability to full-time Associates for help in times of need. Short-term disability is available for a small monthly fee, and provides 60% of your weekly base pay, up to $1,000 a week, and begins on day nine of your disability. Coverage can last up to 25 weeks per calendar year. Long-term disability is offered at no charge for Associates once they reach a year of service.
