Regular screening mammograms are very important, that’s why the Mary Washington Healthcare Mobile Mammography Van brings their mammography screening services to you.  The van sees patients throughout the Fredericksburg region including areas in, Bowling Green, King George, Stafford, Ladysmith, Dahlgren and Quantico.

 The Mobile Mammography Van provides state of the art mammography, with the most advanced technology available, digital mammography.  Digital mammography decreases repeat mammograms, improves image quality and provides more timely results to referring physicians.

Our Quality 

This service is accredited by the American College of Radiation and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  Screening mammograms (patients with no problems) are performed by professional trained, female Radiologic Technologists.   Each mammogram is evaluated by a Mary Washington Hospital board-certified radiologist.  Women participating in the program and their referring physician will receive a results letter within 10 days.

 Mammography Van staff will file medical insurance claims.
